                                            Poem : I had a Dream

I was forever yours

I said go first and you did

I stepped after you

Our destination was blind

Waiting for sunrise was late

Already all creatures were asleep

Take the lead !!!!!!! a loud voice

I ignored and wished I listened

I had a dream but feared

Shaken by the new day

The sun was on the horizon

A new day was on the tip

My tongue could taste

I feared and ran to hide

A snake does its laddering

Underneath I felt my skin respond

 As birds sang the morning glory

I was awake, looked around

A new day was born  I smiled

I knew it was a dream

Standing tall and sang along

All species joined in

A dream it was , I said

All I know is that I had a dream

I shall live to fulfill that dream

I had a dream
