Poet : Slondile Dlamini
Poet : I once loved
My strength was your life
I built an empire and you survived
In my arms and you mourned
Inside me you were complete
My body was yours
My arms held you tight
My prayers carried you
My dreams became yours
Slowly I was surrounding
In my dreams you were alive
I kissed you endlessly
Your sensation was my love
Pleasure was reached
In seconds we were lost
In the dark we found each other
Impossible was made possible
But in the morning I found you
Not in my arms this time
I cried and searched but you fled
I gave and you exploited
Half of me was gone with you
Alone I cried my self to sleep until sunrise
You never returned my dear
I’m forced to accept your absence
I pray that you go well and hurt no soul
Memories are conserved
But dreams are shattered, but will survive
I once loved soul
Deep, too deep
ReplyDeleteTouching.....really deep
ReplyDeleteAn experience most can relate to...that empty, betrayed feeling. You are telling our story.... Amazing work my sweetheart.
