The seed in me
Was planted decades ago
I was over due
For the nation to know
Through thick and thin
Infertile or fertile I grew
On the ground and underneath
Ask the ants They will tell
I was young and unseen
The world knew nothing
I was ashamed but still
I grew like plants
Ever green with fruits
I was tasteful
Ask others I went with
My fruits were fresh
From my breast
I harvested the best
My unborn baby was healthy
Like plants I grew
Droughts or rain still
I was blessed before seasons
Like rivers I flowed
Flowers of the nation
In my heart I'm the seed
The seed in me
Shall grow for the nation
