A smile was born

Kneeling down with pains
Praying softly
Not for help just survival
In labor I have been
Cramps where killing me
With tears I prayed
Each second I collapsed
Crying and pleading
Mercy upon me
My mouth was so dry
Couldn't breath
Hoping and praying
Within days I would smile
I knew just pained
After hours I gave birth
To a beautiful smile
My baby carried me then
A smile was born

Feeling heavy and tired
A norm it was
Drained to the core
Day to day
Bones were so tired
I lost hope
I only prayed to survive
Nothing else
When I was pregnant
I felt sick
My stomach clutched
Couldn't eat
Every move was draining
Needed energy
After days I was in labor
Prayer started
Count seconds with fingers crossed
A beautiful smile
After hours I gave birth
Tears of joy
Just smile I named her
My baby was born
Smiling at last with joy and peace
Tears of life was no more
Right then my baby
Her smile held me so close
With love I kissed her
Eyes closed as we slept tightly
A smile was born
