A cat in my eyes

Cat in my eyes

With confusion I stare

Where and why

Any wounds but none

Why sad cries I search

Nothing tangible either

Question no one 

Help is needed 

Running to save life

Where should I go 

Left or right

No words uttered 

Only hugs can do 

A cat in my eyes

Colour and warmth 

Holding me to stay

Sadness written in the eyes

This creature though

Let it cry upon me

Staying awake just to hold it

Cannot say it's okay

Lie is not best told

Wanting to go but can't

Without peace there is death

Cannot be responsible

Pain and sorrow in those tears

With hope it stares 

A cat in my eyes.
