Story of my life

LIFE IS HARD FOR EVERYONE :

Growing up in rural is one of the most challenging but rewarding experience, I had to dream the impossible and live to see inequality and discrimination. It's true men and women in rural areas are highly distinguished based on what they do and say. The influence of discrimination has taught me to be independent at a young age.

I had to work hard and maybe twice as boys just to prove my capabilities or to justify my ideas because of gender. Seeing and hearing things about women habits that mostly men would question maybe be interested in. I would listen and do my own research and find out most of what men did not want from women was strong unshakeable women to marry them. I did not understand then but now I do growing up and trying to understand the environment and life in general was a very complex experience for me which resulted in me being that lonely child with a busy mind trying by all means to escape and find something that will occupy my needs and desires for a better life.

I always wanted a better life where I would live a peaceful life without anyone constantly reminding me of my imperfections. With that said there was only one way I would be able to escape that was through education. I had to work hard at school and get better results. Well striving to achieve I had lots of obstacles to overcome and fight them. Well I learned that in life you must sacrifice for everything that could turn your journey upside down. That meant less time with friends and ended up having none and no time for dating because that posed a very big mistake of unplanned pregnancy in my head I knew that would be the end of my big dreams. I had to be isolated and fight until today.

My message to young girls is keep dreaming and be true to your dreams. Always know that in life you must work hard and always prioritise for what you want. Always be clear even when you meet friends always be clear and never confuse a dream with a wish. Work hard , love yourself , Respect others , Fight for what you want and stay humble. Trust God with your life and work hard. Your dreams shall come true one day.
