Guilt driven

Slowly I walk across
I hope to make it
Swimming inside
With passion you stare
Waiting for any slips
I tighten my grip around you
I let you guide me
Through the night I stare
With stars guiding me
Like snake I crawl
With passion I walk
No direction but hope
Survival or death
I don't really care
Swimming through mud
I strengthen my grip
With hope I walk across
With peace I fly higher
My breath is quiet
Heart listens and shakes
With those eyes I know
For real it's you
I never felt this way
Not regretting anything
Slowly I walk across
With peace I fly with birds
Without feathers I clean
My heart remains dirty
With guilt I walk slowly
I regret none but pray
I walk through alone
Not yet but soon found again.
